Indonesia is an archipelagic country located in Southeast Asia, lying between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It is the world’s largest island country, consisting of over 17,000 islands, about 6,000 of which are inhabited. The major islands include Sumatra, Java, Borneo (shared with Malaysia and Brunei), Sulawesi, and New Guinea (shared with Papua New Guinea). Java is the most populous island and home to the capital city, Jakarta.
Day 1-2 (Seminyak): Arrive in Seminyak, settle into your hotel, and spend the day relaxing on Seminyak Beach or exploring local shops and cafes. On day two, visit Tanah Lot Temple for sunset and enjoy dinner at a beachfront restaurant.
Day 3-4 (Nusa Penida): Take a morning ferry to Nusa Penida. Day three, explore Broken Beach, Angel’s Billabong, and Kelingking Beach. Overnight in Nusa Penida. Day four, visit Crystal Bay for snorkeling and relax on the beach before returning to Seminyak.
Day 5-6 (Gili Islands): Travel to the Gili Islands (Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, or Gili Meno). Day five, relax on the beach or explore the island by bike. Day six, enjoy snorkeling or diving in the clear waters and experience the vibrant nightlife.
Day 7-8 (Ubud): Transfer to Ubud. Day seven, visit Ubud Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, and local markets. Day eight, explore Tegalalang Rice Terraces and Tirta Empul Temple, with optional activities like rafting or a visit to a coffee plantation.
Day 9: Departure from Denpasar or extend your stay in Ubud for further exploration.
